About Us
Viking Vintage restores and sells vintage electronics from the
vacuum tube era. We sell tubes for Hallicrafters, Hammarlund, Collins,
Johnson, Yaesu, Drake and many other tube receivers and transmitters. We
have individual vacuum tubes or complete tube kits to retube your radios. All of
our vacuum tubes are thouroughly tested, whether used or NOS. We cater to
the collector of boatanchors.
We also restore and resell various vaccum tube era
boatanchors, Amateur Radio gear, home audio, guitar amplifiers, and even
vintage analog keyboards. While we do not take in units for repair, our
restoration facility has a full compliment of test equipment designed to service
vacuum tube electronics and the staff to service vaccum tube circuits. We also
have completed full restorations & conversion to Amateur Radio of
AM Broadcast Transmitters made by RCA, Collins Radio, Raytheon, &
Gates.
While we do specialize in Ham Radio we also from time to time
offer vaccum tube gear used in home audio. Some items we have restored are from
manufacturers like Dynakit, Heathkit, McIntosh, Quicksilver Audio, Marantz &
Fisher to name a few.
